PCM Artificial Lift manufacturing plant and service center in China
PCM has established its presence in China back in 2004, starting being active in major oilfields of CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC like Daqing, Liaohe or Sheng Li.
PCM has established a manufacturing plant in Wujiang, Jiangsu in 2009 in order to be able to assemble and test on demand our artificial lift equipment (pumps and drive heads). Meanwhile a service team has been set up to support our local partners but also to successfully manage operations abroad.
PCM has also set up a Service Center in Xinjiang in 2013 in order to provide a dedicated local support to PCP operations in Karamay and Jimsar. PCM is currently developing with its partner a full functional workshop soon proposing maintenance, repair, testing, failure analysis and elastomer lab.
In 2018, a PCM Vulcain™ (All Metal PCP) pilot project was launched in Xinjiang whereas a CBM/CSG gas wells’ pilot has been installed to bring our strong Australian experience with PCP in that particular field.

Hong Chai is ALS sales manager for China and is your key contact for all Artificial Lift activities. Originally graduated in Business Administration, Chai has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. He previously served as Technical Engineer then Service Manager at PCM.
