At the heart of all progressing cavity pump systems beats PCM Moineau technology named after the French inventor and PCM founder, René Moineau. The unique success story of the Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) began more than 85 years ago with the pioneering invention of René Moineau, the Moineau™ Pump manufactured by PCM.
In 1930, René Moineau exhibited the first ever progressing cavity pump, his new Moineau pump at the Paris Exhibition of inventions. Over the past 85 years, PCM has acquired incomparable knowledges in a wide range of industries. The company expertise in fluid properties and behaviors has been serving customers challenges in Oil & Gas markets since the 80’s.
Innovation is therefore in our DNA since the beginning. The PCM Group headquarters is located in Paris and the technological core center is located in western France. PCM controls the entire design and production chain from the R&D department to the in-house manufacture of its elastomers, as well as the machining of its rotors, the manufacture of stators and all components. Today, PCM manufactures, delivers and services complete systems with one of the widest range of progressing cavity pumps in the market.
All our stator elements delivered worldwide are manufactured in France in our main manufacturing plant. With its long tradition of research and innovation, PCM provides high standards innovative PCP solutions.
PCM also have a unique department dedicated to PCP Performance management in well (with global tracking tools, and continuous analysis and optimization methodologies)
